An alluring and groundbreaking ‘Swan Lake’ styled shoot that will inspire the fashionable brides this season.
‘Swan Lake’ – Odette and Odile
Taking inspiration from the all-time famous and most loved classical ballet, ‘Swan Lake’ by Tchaikovsky, this styled shoot features a professionally trained ballerina dancing in a series of white and black gowns. ‘Swan Lake’ is a timeless love story that tells the love story of Prince Siegfried and Odette, the Swan princess. As with every fairy tale, there is always a villain that obstructs the protagonists from getting together. In this story, it was Odile, the black swan, who also happens to be the daughter of the main antagonist, Von Rothbart the sorcerer.
The transition from white tutus and gowns to a black dress in this shoot portrays the two different characters Odette and Odile. In this classical ballet, the prima ballerina often plays both Odette and Odile for most of the variations. Therefore, this shoot emphasises aforementioned by using a single ballerina in the entire shoot. The model’s grace and poise in white contrasts with her stance in black. All the details showcase how well-thought this whole shoot is.
“The shoot features a professionally trained ballerina dancing into the night, transitioning from a black feathered gown into a grandiose white feathered ball gown.”
